Nigerian Musician, Teni reveals that she’s pregnant for Wizkid

Nigerian musician and superstar, Wizkid has agreed to father Teni ’s baby after she recently announced that she is pregnant for the singer on Twitter. Teni took to Twitter some hours ago to reveal that she got pregnant for WizKid immediately she listened to the singer’s latest track, Joro. Teni also shared a scan of the developed embryo on her Twitter page and said the baby is named after her latest song, ‘Billionaire’. 95 graduates arrested with fake certificates —NYSC

Enyioha Opara, Minna The National Youth Service Corps has said that it has apprehended about 95 graduates with fake certificates from Nigeria and foreign universities and handed them over to security agencies during the last orientation exercise. The Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, disclosed this on Wednesday at the 2019 Batch ‘C’ pre-mobilization workshop, held in Niger State. Ibrahim said that 65 out of the arrested graduates were from universities in Nigeria while 30 others were from other West African universities. “Regarding fraudulent certificates, we have arrested 65 fake students from universities in Nigeria and from other West African universities, we have arrested about 30. We have handed them over to the police for prosecution.”

Osun female banker jailed for fraud

Ademola Babalola, Ibadan A 51-year-old female banker, Yetunde Adewunmi, was on Tuesday sentenced to one year imprisonment for conspiracy, aiding and abetting fraud by the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State Adewunmi was convicted by Justice Peter Lifu on an amended charge instituted against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibadan zonal office. Investigation conducted by officers of the commission revealed that the convict used her position as an employee of a new generation bank in Ile-Ife to forge two identity cards for one Abayomi Onalaja, a suspected Internet fraudster, to enable him collect funds sent by his foreign victims through Western Union money transfer service. Adewunmi was said to have benefited N236,736 from the illegal deals. The EFCC had earlier filed five counts bordering on money laundering against her, but later amended them to one count after the convict agreed to a plea bargain deal with the commission.
